Voltia, also nicknamed Whale dragon are the largest flying animal from Pale Terram

Those large mammal amphibian animals tends to live in mountains close to the sea
Most of their diet is made of fish; they dive into water, opening their large mouth, and catching a large amount of fish, through the hole on their head, they spill the water so they can swallow only the fish. If they have an infant to raise, they remove the water and keep the fish stored into their sack like part of their long throats.
While their diet is mostly fish, they might also swallow any flying animal they manage to catch into their mouths if hungry.
They are passive to most species, and won't bother them if other animal does not bother them in return, however they will be highly protective if they have infants
Voltia couples usually remains together to the end of their lives.
Voltia gives birth to a single infant and raises it to adulthood until it is able to fly for itself
They are fertile 3 times each 2 Pale Terram years(10 human years) 
They live to about 210 Inferus years(1050 Earth years)
They have memories like elephants and will identify you by your face, and remember who you are. They also marks their areas, even naming the land they live.
They give names to each other through echoes and whale like sounds.
Their singing can be heard over 3 miles away.
They are not tamable. They can gain your trust, but they will never obey to your commands.
The black bulb on its head serves to be used as echolocation underwater, very similar to how Dolphins have the bulbous front of their heads
