Blood Types

 

 Blood classes/types are what highly differentiate each 'race' of Inferus.   Just like we humans have different facial or physical features from different countries, so too do the Inferus.   Although, by historical blending, the 'races' got mixed in every part of their globe. Differently from Humans, Blood types are not only a way to differentiate the appearance, but also their blood types.

 

Pure-Blood:  Inferus born, considered to have 'clean' blood.  They have no lips, and instead, they have their teeth covered by a thin, yet really resistant skin that produces a substance that covers the teeth, making it as if the Inferus has no mouth.  Their arms are disproportionate, and are the same length of the legs.  They stand usually from 7 to 12 feet tall. All Pure-Bloods are pale skinned, white haired and Flat-faced. Their blood is toxic for other species, and their saliva serves for both intoxication and healing, depending on which glands they activate.

 

 

Medium-Blood:  Inferus born, considered to be in the middle of the 'clean' blood scale.  They have lips and can have different skin and hair colors, and also have the possibility of developing eyes.  Their arms can be disproportionate or proportionate to their body, and have a more human shape. They usually stand between 5 to 8 feet tall. Their blood holds healing properties as well as their saliva.

 

Low-Blood: Inferus born, considered to be in the low end of the blood spectrum.  They have lips and can have different skin and hair colors, as well as the possibility of developing eyes.  Their arms are proportionate to their bodies, having a more human shape.  They are usually between 5 to 8 feet tall. Their saliva holds neither healing or intoxication properties.

 

Dirty-Blood: Inferus born with gray skin.  They may or may not have lips, depending on their genes.  Their skin color is gray, usually ranging from medium to dark shades.  Their hair is usually white, but can also be grey or black.  They can have eyes or be flat-faced.   Their arms can be proportionate or disproportionate.  They usually stand between 5 to 12 feet tall. Their blood can be toxic to other species, have healing properties, or have no effects at all.  Their saliva works the same way as a Pure-Blood’s, being either toxic or have healing abilities based on the glands activated.

False-Blood: False bloods are humans turned into Inferus.  Because they were not born as an Inferus, their features vary drastically, not having a pattern like the ones natural to the species.  Human conversion to Inferus is a very painful process that takes about a week to be completed. It is highly painful due to the bones breaking and reforming, forcing the muscles to stretch, calcium levels rising by compromising other nutrients, neurons being replaced, heart rate changing, and some hormones being boosted while others stop completely. The mutation happens through Inferus DNA mixed with alchemical compounds to produce the substance necessary.

Power Classes

As Inferus holds supernatural powers like other living beings in their planet, they also have different classifications.

 

Mentus: Inferus with more control over mental powers, allowing them to have more strength to breach, control, and deceive minds.  Most work in occupations that make use of their abilities, like detective work, interrogation, etc.

 

Medens: Inferus with more control over healing powers, allowing them to heal faster or heal others, or even have more use in life manipulation.   Most Medens turn into medics.

 

Lentus:  Inferus with more control over stamina and strength powers, allowing them to be stronger and to have a higher physical resistance.  Most Lentus usually end up in jobs requiring their strength.

 

Null:  Inferus that doesn't hold a specific focus in any class, allowing them to stead of being born with something specific, they are able to try learning them. They get random choices.

Faces

 

Flat faced:  Inferus that has no eyes and, instead, have vision pads which allows them to see, working just like eyes.

 

Eyed:  Inferus born with eyes.  They are less common than their flat-faced brethren.  Their eyes are black and can have a lot of different shapes and sizes. Eyed Inferus usually see 0.5 more colors than someone without eyes.

While humans have 3 color cones. Inferus have 7 to 8 color cones.

Eyed inferus are also able to wear color lenses, used mostly for appearance, it can come in several different colors, here are some examples:

Skin color

 The colors may change or not be present in certain blood-types.  They can also have different saturations of color or tints.

 

Full pale:  The most common of all.  Nearly all Inferus are pale.

 

Partial pale:  The variation of the pale, it can be either faint peach or yellowish, the skin is nearly pale while it has some hue.

 

 

Peach: Less common color skin.  It isn’t rare, though it is not the most common of all.

 

Tan:  Less common color skin, with the same rate as Peach

 

Yellowish:  Way less common.  Very few Inferus have yellowish skin.

 

Gray:  Inferus with gray skin are called 'Dirty-blood' and are often discriminated by their skin color.

 Extra skin features

Vitiligo Inferus:
Inferus now can have the skin condition that causes lack of melanin on parts of the skin
Grey Inferus can also have Vitiligo



Melanic Inferus:
Inferus with extreme melanin accumulation, makes them look almost fully black.


Albino Inferus:
Some inferus might end up being born albino, the difference between a pale and an albino is that, for an albino, his/her skin is way more fragile and sensitive to the sun, also name it more transparent, giving a pinkish hue to it as well as making their vision pads visible


Stripped, spotted Inferus:
several inferus are born with stripes or spots, most that have zebra like stripes tends to have genes from areas made of savanna, those with more spotted stripes tends to gave genes that matches of tropical areas.
Colored Inferus can also have stripes and spots, the stripes and spots can be lighter or darker depending on the inferus genetics, on colored inferus, if it is not fully black and is lighter, it will look like a shade of their skin color


Shaded neck and/or chest and/or belly
Some Inferus might also have a darker belly, chest, neck, or just neck and chest, or just neck and belly, belly and chest, only belly, only chest, only neck, etc.

Inferus can also have combinations of both shaded front with stripes, or melanism

Hair Color

Hair is only available for females.
Hair on Inferus are not like our hair, their hair once started as extensions similar to the hairy frog, being fleshy, with evolution, and less need of them as 'heat dispensers', they became thinner, no longer bleeds, making them look silky.

 

White:  White hair is the most common Inferus hair.

 

Black:  Black hair is less common to see.

 

Brown:  Brown hair is really rare, and really difficult to find on an Inferus.

Blonde:  Blonde hair is really difficult to find.

Neck

Inferus neck contains some vestiges from when they used to have gills for water filtration, they might have stopped working, but the vestiges remained. How visible the vestiges are, depends a lot of the genetic from each individual, they are, however, always made out of four vestiges, and those, also serves a purpose on their evolution, as they stopped being used as gills, they turned into sensors, able to feel the soft waves of air, it allows them to know air currents and know if the weather will change. If the vestiges are scritched and caressed, it can also lead them to sexual arousal.:



above you can see how it looks like under the gills, it is the area that is the sensors that are able to feel the waves of air, aka breezes.

Neck, Chin and Jaw beard

Some male Inferus reaching puberty develop what they call 'beards', those are fleshy 'scale' like forms that can come on the chin, jaw line or neck, some might have on all areas, others might have on just some specific areas. Only males develops the beards and they can be also linked to the female attraction to them

Abdominal diversity

 
 Since Inferus had had so many genetic adds due to them joining their species stead of destroying each other, they kept several traits and some of them, were the abdominal area, giving them a different visual feature.

Back neck, back, arm and leg 'scales'

the 'scales' on Inferus backs are actually fleshy, they are nowhere near solid, they are more like vestiges of the evolution of the species, once the scales on the back served for better water flow, allowing them to swim faster, as they gained more favour to the dry land living, the scales shaped to gain morphing packs, similar to the component that you add to make instant ice grow fast in touch, they contain a similar trait. As evolution went, only three scales really gained the trait, the reason would be that, with only three on the back, it doesn't hinder their locomotion and flexibility.
The arms and legs fleshy scale shapes still retained the water use, to allow them to navigate faster underwater.
The fins are an old vestige of when they would use it to look bigger, now smaller, it has a little small aerodynamic purpose for water traveling, just not as useful as it used to be, it does, however, rises up by will or if the Inferus is surprised, scared, threatened, when he/she feels goosebumps, similar to how a cat rises its fur.

Marks

Marks are stripes that can be seen on their backs.  The reason why some Inferus are born with them is because those marks serves as 'heat panels’.   Facing their backs to the sun, they can absorb and increase their metabolism significantly. Those that are born without it can still absorb heat, though it is not as efficient.

 

No mark:  Very common.

 

Single stripe: Also common and normal. Single stripes tends to have several shapes.  Sometimes they cover the entire back, sometimes they cover just a side, and they can be curved or straight, even spotted.

 

Double stripes:  Also common and normal. Same with the single stripes, the difference is that they are divided in two.

Tendrils

Tendrils are extra appendages made of muscle. Some have mouths that are able to growl and hiss or scream, and with enough training they can learn to speak and copy sounds.  They are also able to do other things if learned, like being able to detach the tendrils, or even make thorns on them, depending on the abilities that the Inferus learn. Also, mutations on tendrils might occur, and when it happens, it might give either extra tendrils, or even extra mouth jaws

 

No mouth:  The tendrils that have no extra "mouths".

 

Venus flytrap shape: They resemble the Venus flytrap plants and are able to morph to resemble other things, as long as it fits the two jaws.

Triple-Segmented shape: They look like a triangle, which separates in 3 jaws, and they morph as long as they retain the 3 jaw sections.

 

Quad-Segmented shape:  These are spherical, separated by 4 jaws, and also morph as long as they still have the 4 segment pattern.

 

Squashed mode

 The 'squashed mode' usually happens when an Inferus wants to swim with more ease, their tendrils which are made of muscle, compresses and squashes themselves, allowing them to work better at swimming. Inferus with mouth tendrils can still use said mouths to gather water and jet it off to speed their swimming.

Hands

Inferus have handpads, a trait for their quadruped past, it is still resistant, soft, just not as fleshy as the foot pads, In fact, Inferus are still able to run on all fours if they wish to, just like the footpads, they can stand good amount of heat and cold. They come in different colors, each of those colors can have a lighter shade.


The feet can also have some slight changes, for example, some inferus might have the mid pad on the hand separated.



Inferus have spurs on the side of their hand which remains retracted if not used. Once activated, it breaks through the skin and remains firm by its set of tendons, the spur also has a very small gland connected that fills it with toxins, those toxins are not really lethal, they cannot kill a being alone, at least from their planet, however it can cause the wounded being to become sick for a while. However, it has more than just self defense use, an Inferus can use it to also stab through hard fruits if they are not willing to bite through it or if the fruit's surface contains toxins.

Feet

Inferus feet have footpads, which help them walk longer distances without putting too much strain on their feet. They are soft and smooth to the touch, yet they are resistant and can stand a good amount of heat and cold.

The feet can also have some slight changes, for example, some inferus might have thicker toe pads or middle pad, others might even have a shorter toe.

Biological characteristics

 

 

The birth rate is 1 female for every 10-15 male Inferus.

Inferus have working eye membranes. Pale Inferus needs them more than the ones with color, as they serve to shield the light when they want to sleep, so that way literally no light leaves the reddish like view like we have when we close our eyes in front of the sun.

False-Blood odds of having females are greater than the other blood types. Other types: 1 female, 10-15 males. False-blood: 1 female, 5 males.

Inferus are born to be the same size of human babies.

All Inferus have joined front bottom teeth.  They are nicknamed 'tusks,' and their main function is to rip through a prey's throat to leave little chance of recovery.

When born, Pure, High and Medium blood Inferus are so thin that they are nearly skin and bone, their skin being quite translucent, and their arms not so elongated.  The arms elongate and they gain weight within a few days of life. Low-Bloods are an exception, being born with more fat and less translucent skin, nearly resembling a human baby. Dirty-Bloods can be born either way.

Inferus are children for 1 year (5 human years), teenager for 5 (25 human years) and adults for the rest of their life.

ONLY female Inferus have hair, males are completely bald.

Females can control pregnancy so that they can decide whether to be pregnant or not by activating acidic substances in the uterus that dissolve the egg.

Inferus pregnancy lasts about 2 Inferus months (5 to 6 human months).

Each Inferus has a different pheromone scent which is constant.  However, once triggered by sexual arousal, it becomes stronger.

Inferus can produce silk with their tendrils, which is able to simulate any cloth tissue.  This is what they use to make some of their clothes. However, it is not because of this that they only use their silk, in fact, they also build clothes with other tissues.

The Inferus tongue contains heat sensors, which allows them to track other beings or objects that emit heat.  It is not as efficient as seeing, but it works.

 Inferus see 3x more colors than humans, They have 5 color cones.

 Inferus has a shade and light perception 3x more than humans, they have 360 million rods.

 Inferus perceives electricity more than us, so the electricity cables are like glowing lines for Inferus eyes.

 The place where the nose is contains an organ that detects electromagnetic particles and the olfactory organ that detects odor particles that collide with the skin.

 Inferus are mammal/amphibian hybrids, allowing them to breath underwater.  There are traces of their amphibious heritage on their necks, where depressions in the skin mark the presence of where they once had gills.

 Their stomachs are able to process other types of materials like glass, stone and plastics, though it is not considered healthy.

 Inferus are omnivorous, though with their sharp teeth, one can assume their ancestors were once carnivorous.

 Inferus teeth are not well suited for chewing like humans do, so they bite off chunks and swallow them whole.

The Inferus brain can process information twice as fast as a human.

 Inferus hearing is more acute than a human’s, allowing them to hear sounds that we can't.

 Inferus are fireproof for a certain amount of time.

 Inferus are strong enough to bend most metals found on earth, depending on the thickness and type of alloy.

 Inferus do have ears, though they are small holes on their skull. They can block the ear canals with a tiny bone that dampens and disperses vibrations so that they can make themselves deaf if necessary.

 Healing cells regenerate and heal an Inferus’ body.

 Most Inferus die of diseases or accidents that kills their healing cells.  If not that, they may die of emotional stress like depression and other psychological and emotional problems, be it suicide or literally the body getting so unhealthy that the brain stops functioning and kills the Inferus.

 Inferus are born with 6 tendrils, which start very short, and increase gradually in size once they reach puberty.

 Despite the fact that Inferus naturally have 6 tendrils, genetic mutations can lead an Inferus to be born with more or less; however this is rare, but that does not mean that it cannot happen.

Sexuality, love and emotion

 

 

Like humans, Inferus also have two genders, Female and Male.

Inferus necks contains vestiges from their amphibian evolution, those gill like formations are sensible, able to feel the most gentle breeze, those gills, when caressed, can cause sexual arousal.

If an infant is born a Hermaphrodite, an operation is made to turn the Inferus into a female, never a male, due to the low quantity of females in their species.

Having multiple partners is badly received and nearly no Inferus perform said polygamous types of relationships.

A female that has sexual relations to too many males and holds no boyfriend relationship with a single one is seen as a whore and males will start refusing to want anything serious with her.

A male that had too many sexual relations with too many females and never held a serious relationship with any of them is considered a 'loser' and females will start refusing anything serious with him.

Several males die without ever managing to have sexual relations.

Ways to show love usually involve licking the lips and cheeks, as well as kissing, holding hands, “eskimo kisses” (rubbing noses together), ect.

Flat-faced inferus cry through their mouths, as the tear ducts leak through the mouth, as opposed to the eyes.

As stated before, each Inferus has a different scent produced by their pheromones.  This gets stronger and more noticeable with sexual arousal.

Inferus sexual intercourse can last from minutes to 3 human days (1 day on Pale Terram). The reason as to why it can last so long is because it is believed that their ancestors may have passed through a tight situation involving food, so females started refusing to having offspring so they did not have to worry about feeding both them and their children. So, as a way to try to reproduce, males developed an extra biological substance that allowed them to gain the energy to last longer during intercourse, until the female lost her ability to remain unfertilized and eventually became fertilized. However, females also developed the substance, which after some hundreds of years allowed them to keep themselves unfertilized for the whole 3-human-day process.

Inferus also tends to wrap their tendrils against each-others’ in a way to show affection to their partner or child, be it wrapping around the other person's tendrils or body, like a hug.

Breeding.

Male Inferus genitalia, aka penis contains fleshy scales that points downwards from head to base, the scales are situated on the top and sides of the member, while under it has nubs, the average number are; top: 10. each side: 13. Nubs(under only): 7
Female genitalia, aka vagina contains fleshy scales like the male genitalia, but stead of downwards, they face upwards towards the uterus, the average number is 13 from left and right and 10 from front and back.
Male semen can damage human or other animals uterus and such, capable of sterilizing due to said damage.
female vaginal fluids are acid to other species, capable of corroding skin and causing blister damage.
Inferus cannot produce 'hybrids' with any other species, nor breed.
Males with more fleshy scales and nubs tends to be the most sexually attractive ones, having strong genetics
Females with more fleshy scales are also those that tends to be most sexually attractive, having stronger genetics
females are able to decide by themselves if they want to be fertile or not, they have glands into their tubes that while active will kill any egg and prevent them from being fertilized, and even if the egg gets fertilized, if they so really don't want it, they can activate the glands and it will dissolve the egg.
Male orgasm is equally intense like a females and it can last from minutes to hours, if not a full day.
Inferus intercourse can last from minutes, to a full inferus day(3 earth days)

Notes

 

Inferus faces can change a few features over time, depending on how they go through life and if they use certain things like alcohol or smoking.

Inferus does not have goosebumps like humans for they never really had fur coating in first place, their equivalent to a goosebump is when their fins and their gill vestiges rises up.

Inferus have supernatural traits which allow them to have unique abilities or overall improve their senses.

 Inferus were the ones that brought Latin to the human race.

 Inferus can identify each other by reading their mental signatures.

 Inferus were responsible for several happenings in human history.

 Jesus Christ was an Eyed, Medium-blood, Medens Inferus with the ability to morph his face.

 Inferus underpopulation happened because of the Great Families War that happened about 10,000 years ago, which was responsible for killing 1/3 of the Inferus population, including females, lowering their birthrate. Since then, Inferus have been slowly declining in numbers because they don't have enough females to keep their population constant.

 The Great Families War happened because of high ranking families like Tenebrarum Domini who would be owners of cities of even countries, and wanting to increase their lands, caused conflict and later lead to the war.

 Inferus intervened in a lot of moments of human history.

 'Kassius Monet Minor' is believed to be the oldest Inferus of history, they believe he is over 10,000 years old. However, Kassius refuses to have interaction with others and prefers to live alone by himself on a mountain where his house resides in a cave.

Illness and physical defects

 

 

There are several Inferus diseases that kill their healing cells, preventing them from healing or regenerating, which eventually kills them.

 It is possible to make an Inferus lose limbs and not regenerate anymore, but it is necessary to use a substance that kills healing cells in the wounded area.

 Some Inferus are born unable to teleport.

 Some Inferus are born unable to produce silk.

 Some Inferus are born without tendrils.

 Some Inferus are born with damaged healing cells.

 Some Inferus are born with physical defects.

Society

 

 

Their currency is the 'Chrytios.'

 Inferus holds no religious beliefs since their discoveries of other alien civilizations and cultures, however they still have churches as historical monuments or museums.

 The word 'God' is now used as a name for the black hole in the center of the galaxy, for it is the thing that gave the galaxy life and is also what will destroy it.

Inferus do not need traveling passports as they can teleport wherever as long as they have the local signature of their destination.

 Not all Inferus are murderers and own servants. About 83% of Inferus have common lives, with jobs, family to care for and bills to pay.

 While there is a way to increase the population by having more False-bloods to breed (with their higher chances of having females), the classic and old Inferus discrimination of that blood type makes them not do it as they should. However, there is a project going on in their society where abducted female humans are injected with the DNA cocktail and turned into Inferus in the hopes they will reproduce one day and increase the number of females.

 Inferus have technology that far surpasses humans.

 Inferus architecture is a mix of 1700’s and modern styles.

 Airplanes, ships and other traveling methods are used mostly for leisure, and are not necessary.

 Large, mountable animals are a common transport.

 Cars are barely used thanks to their ability to teleport.

 Inferus take care of their planet’s environments, using eco-friendly resources way more than industrial, and if the industrial is used, they make sure it is able to be recycled.

 They have large cities, though not as many as humans.

 False-blood are discriminated heavily for not being born Inferus, and they are treated mostly like the lowest thing in society.

 Dirty-bloods are discriminated by their skin color, similar to the way humans discriminate people with darker color.

Inferus school time only lasts 1 single Inferus year (5 human years), which means they need to learn what we do in 18, in only 5.  This means that classes are not only physical but also mental.
